How I work

Tech Lead at Bata Group in Zlín. I run delivery on Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud: storefronts, integrations, and the processes around them.

Before Bata, I shipped client products in PHP and Laravel at TAOX. Different stack, same standard: clear handoffs, readable config, no surprises in production.

Current focus

  • Technical leadership on Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud storefronts, integrations, and the delivery practices around them at Bata Group.
  • Building delivery processes, documentation standards, and Scrum discipline so the team ships predictably.
  • End-to-end retail delivery: integrations, front-end work, platform configuration, middleware, and email tooling.
  • Established versioned ESP deployment so email configuration moves through the same review and ownership as application code.
  • Onboarding, mentoring, and test automation to grow the team and protect releases.

Principles

Own the outcome, not just the ticket

I trace work from business intent through implementation to production. That means clarifying acceptance criteria early, surfacing risks before they block a release, and staying accountable after go-live.

Make the platform legible

Enterprise commerce systems are dense. I prioritize readable configuration, consistent front-end patterns, and documentation that helps the next developer move faster without re-learning the same constraints.

Reduce rework with deliberate trade-offs

Not every problem needs a custom build. I weigh maintainability, timeline, and platform conventions before extending SFCC or introducing new dependencies in legacy stacks.

Communicate in the language of the room

Whether the audience is a BA, designer, client stakeholder, or another engineer, I translate technical constraints into decisions people can act on.

Impact signals

  • Extended a commerce-first platform beyond storefronts into presentational sites, showing the architecture scales.
  • Built versioned ESP deployment so email configuration is owned, reviewable, and faster to change.
  • Three-year progression from IT support to software engineer to tech lead within Bata Group.
  • Community outreach through Bata Children's Program volunteer work.
  • Cross-stack delivery across commerce cloud, modern front ends, backends, cloud functions, and automation.
  • Professional Scrum Developer I certification; applied informatics training in architecture and systems thinking.
  • Mentoring and onboarding recognized in peer recommendations.

How I work

Discovery & scoping

Map user journeys, integration points, and platform limits before committing to implementation. Prefer short written summaries over long meetings.

Delivery

Incremental releases, explicit test paths, and early demos. Keep staging environments representative of production constraints. Maintain strict Scrum practices.

Quality

Semantic markup, accessible forms, predictable error handling, test-driven development, and code that matches existing project conventions.

Handoff

Leave behind notes on configuration, known edge cases, and operational checks so teams are not dependent on one person's context.
